Production Technician

Butler Sun Solutions, Inc. specializes in domestic solar water heating systems and is a leading R&D test facility in solar concentrator technology.   We are currently in hiring mode for a well rounded, resourceful, and mechanically inclined individual to help us meet our expanding production and R&D  challenges.  Our company has several patented products that are gaining popularity in the solar hot water market.

The ideal person will have applied knowledge of tool use including welding, machining, carpentry, roofing, wiring, electronics, plumbing, and designing. Knowledge in Solid Works, Autocad, or other computer talent is also highly desirable.  Ability to move adroitly on a roof is a must since this position also involves doing roof top solar installs. This person should be able to establish a congenial relationship with other employees to maintain a pleasant work environment.

Hours are flexible but similar to a 9-5 routine. This position has plenty of head room as the company is in an excellent position to grow steadily, if not rapidly.

Starting pay is $8-15/hr depending on demonstration of applicable knowledge and skills.
