USGBC-SD Chapter Is Seeking Executive Director

The US Green Building Council-San Diego Chapter is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with over 600 members dedicated to promoting sustainable buildings in San Diego.  The Chapter is an affiliate of the US Green Building Council (USGBC), the developer of the LEED® Green Building Rating System, and is located in beautiful San Diego, CA. 
 
The USGBC-San Diego is seeking an Executive Director who is passionate about sustainability and organizational excellence. The Executive Director will oversee all aspects of the organization consistent with the vision of the Chapter, which is recognized as the leading advocate of sustainable buildings in the San Diego region.
 
The ideal candidates will posses the following skills and knowledge:

• Proven fund-raising experience

• Entrepreneurial spirit

• Prior non-profit experience preferred

• Expertise in one or more areas related to sustainable buildings desired

• Strong verbal, writing and interpersonal skills

• Self directed, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects

• Detail oriented, with excellent organizational skills

• Desire and ability to lead a business start-up

• Proven team-building experience

• Strong networking skills
